These terms in plain English

This section summarises our terms in everyday words. If anything here differs from the sections above, the sections above apply, and paid work is covered by the partner agreement you sign.

Using this website

You are welcome to read, share and link to our pages. Please do not copy large parts of the site or our infographics and present them as your own. If you would like to use an infographic, link back to the page it came from.

Links to other sites

Our blog posts and pages link to useful outside sources, such as Google's documentation. We are not responsible for the content of other websites, which have their own terms.

The free trial task

One trial task per business or agency, up to 4 hours of work, delivered within 48 hours where possible. You own the delivered work, and there is no obligation to buy a plan afterwards.

Plans and payment

Plans are monthly, with a 3-month minimum, then month to month with 30 days notice. Prices and limits are those on the pricing page on the day you sign. Ad spend, hosting and software licences are paid separately, directly to those providers.

Your clients

For agencies, our partner agreement includes non-solicitation terms: we do not contact, pitch or take work from clients you introduce.

Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we will update the date at the top of the page. For any question about our terms, email us and a real person will reply. Google's privacy policy covers the analytics data Google Analytics collects on this site.

Who this page applies to

This page applies to anyone visiting siliconhybrids.com, sending a form or requesting a free trial task. Paid work for businesses and agencies is covered by a separate written agreement, which takes priority over this page for that work.

Information on this site

Our pages, guides and blog posts are general information, written to be helpful and accurate on the day they are published. They are not legal, financial or tax advice, and search engines and ad platforms change their rules often, so check important decisions with the relevant provider's own documentation.

Using our forms fairly

Please use our forms only for genuine enquiries. Automated or bulk submissions, spam and attempts to misuse the site are not allowed, and our forms are rate limited to protect them.

Work you receive

Work delivered in a free trial task belongs to you once delivered. Work delivered under a paid plan belongs to you or your client once the month is paid, as set out in the agreement.

Reasonable use of our infographics

You are welcome to share our infographics on social media or in presentations with a credit and a link to the page they came from. Please do not remove our branding or present them as your own work. If you would like to use one in a paid product or publication, ask us first and we will usually say yes. A short email describing where and how you plan to use it is all we need to reply quickly. We normally answer the same working day.

Accuracy and corrections

If you spot something on our site that is out of date or wrong, tell us and we will check it and correct it. We review our guides regularly because search and advertising platforms change their rules often, and we would rather fix a mistake quickly than leave it in place.

More questions

Is there any obligation after the free trial task?

No. You keep the work and there is nothing to buy. Plans start only if you choose one.

How do I cancel a plan?

After the first 3 months, give 30 days notice. There are no exit fees.

Who owns the work you deliver?

You, or your client, once the month is paid. Trial task work is yours once delivered.

Can prices change?

Plans and prices are those on the pricing page on the day you sign. Any future change is agreed in writing before it applies.

Where do I send questions about these terms?

Email us at the address on this page and a real person will reply, usually the same day.

Do these terms cover agency partner work?

Paid work for agencies is covered by the separate partner agreement, which includes non-solicitation of your clients.

Do these terms change often?

Rarely. When they do, we update the date at the top of the page, and any change to paid work is agreed with you in writing first.

What law applies to these terms?

Paid work is governed by the partner or client agreement you sign, which sets out the governing law. For general questions about this website, email us and we will help.
